The soldier in question plans to resign -not sure if that proves he is or is not a snowflake.

Really petty annoyance but fucking Special k ads that have now started on tv for new year dieters. Apparently after years of telling women they needed to eat that crap to be really thin to be happy they’re actually empowering women now. Hypocritical toss - and it’s shit to eat

Why is there a sex doll advertising the new Renault?
-
• #360
probably because they cgi in a different person for different markets?

This smacks of Skynet... they're already taking over without us knowing about it!

Perhaps Renault misunderstood the feedback ‘put some new tech in the product’?

I'm not Adobe's biggest fan (very reluctant subscriber as a business owner) but their ads on YouTube pre-roll at the moment are absolutely brilliant. Does anyone know who did them? They're really good.

I am troubled by the Bolt Signal advert. The silhouette on the lamp would not make the signal on the clouds the same way round.

I don't understand the Toyota Aygo advert with the bloke getting a text from his football mate and his partner who's cooked a meal. Are they in a group chat in which his partner and his best mate just crack on with each other and compete for time with the buff aygo driver? Or do they always just send message after message incessantly to mr aygo in their individual message chains with shorter and shorter content until he pulls over his car and replies to them?

As I understand it, the man is offered dinner and the opportunity to fuck someone he knows because he can read texts in his car.
If that's not a reason to get an Aygo, I don't know what is.

That it's socially acceptable to advertise a car on the premise it has built in distraction devices is painful to me. And that's a youtube icon on the panel, are they capable of playing video on a big screen on the dashboard? Is that a thing?
-
• #373
IIRC that sort of thing is disabled as soon as the car starts moving... or something like that.
-
• #374
The idea is basically that people are so baffled by the advert that they post on their community forum asking what the hell it's all about to give the car company some completely free further reach for the advert. :)

This is incorrect.
Both Apple CarPlay and Android auto text message functions work fully whilst driving.
The ASA also wouldn’t allow the ad to air if the function being shown was false.
And of course, the best ad of all times..
Reebok, Bellys gonna get ya!
