Exactly, in the uk a lot of our traffic fines are pretty mild compared to the euroland and other places (i know the fines regarding speeding are now somewhat income related).
Mate once got a motorbike speeding fine and was like 1100 euro for doing 72 in a 60 (dual carriageway away from a roundabout). In the uk it used be leas than £200 but now probably a bit more?

I just paid it, I knew I should have checked to see if I’d crossed into the zone but totally forgot. I’ve setup autopay now, so no more £80 fines.
