Allen Key 6.5mm ?

Fuck Disc Brakes. Fucking fucks.

The stupid bike I bought with stupid fucking disc brakes SEEMS to require a 6.5mm allen key. I found this out after searching THE EARTH to find a 7mm allen key. And it's too big. And the 6mm is too small.

So, does anyone have a 6.5mm allen key they want to sell me?

Or do you know of a good hex-set that includes a 6.5mm?

Have you tried a torx bit yet?

With the other 2 try imperial or a Torx bit.

Had success with torx because americans like to mix up imperial and metrics sometimes :)

Which brand are the brakes? Formula?

Grind that 7 down if youre not precious about it

Doesn't appear to be Torx bit. And I thought imperial allen keys were just the same, but with daft numbers??

Have you tried sticking rizlas in the hole and then using the 6mm?

Park Tools do a black multitool with a bunch of sizes

Also heard people having success using this method with rubber/elastic bands.

I believe it's the 7/32 you need.

I now just spoke to a mechanic, he advised a 5mm 5sided allen key. Then another mechanic pointed me at (apparently) the one tool in the universe which will get my wheel off. A Whyte Security Key.

Is that real? That's real isn't it.

Couldn't guage from the original post that it was for removing the wheel.
