Tissot have a few nice ones but again tend to have date windows and on the thicker (11/12mm) end.
Personally I'd go with the Orient Bambino or something smaller and vintage like an old seamaster.

Dress watches
Depending on your budget, isn't this a good excuse to buy a handwinding, vintage 2 hander in white gold?
Personally I'd say if wearing a dinner jacket you'd ideally want something more like 34mm-36mm.

Dress watches... I need to attend a black tie event soon. A very rare occasion for me. It's a good reason to get a nice, but not expensive dress watch. Apart from Seiko presage, where do I start? I'd like 38-40mm, thinnish, probably a silver or black dial. Not a gold case. I have seen some Hamilton and orients that are ok but tend to have date windows and/or on the thicker end.
