Brake pads @brickman are an emotive subject as everyone has their belief. For my 2ps worth for brembos I like either the brembo oe pads or bendix pads. Both aren't cheap but I like the feedback and feel. But that probably is all in my head.
@hugo7 Usual thing is check the sliding pins are free, then I clean the discs surface with an angle grinder with a wirebrush attachment to remove the pad residue. Also clean out the holes in the disc with a drill bit then rebed the pads. Ride up to 60 or 70 then sharp brake to0 about 10mph and do that a few times and think that is a good way to bed any pads car or bike.
Also insurance does not seem to follow any logic, there is a thread on MSE showing the logic.

Likewise. I'd much rather have progressive brakes that have a bit more feel. With EBC's it used to be ON/OFF. With Vesrah I can really yank on them, but get a good feel of limits. Even dabbled in trail braking with them with good results.
