You must be outside London!
I used to pay £70 per year TPFT for my Bandit when I lived in Scotland, this went up to £180 for TP only when I moved to Stoke Newington.
Now my new postcode (SE14 Lewisham) seem to be in the dangerzone as quotes came back around £220!

Glasgow, bike theft is beginning to get worse here, Edinburgh is a no go zone even for old bikes like mine, pretty much every week you hear about some German tourists relieved of their bikes overnight or at knife point at some traffic lights.
TBF though you see MANY folk parking £££ bikes on just a steering lock and maybe a £10 disc lock (on a £10k+ bike), my locks are (by insurance table of values) cost more than my bike is worth, but its still here.

Insurance renewed, fully comp for first time ever (somehow it is 1/3 the price of TP only?) for an old not valuable bike. £7 odd a month, yes for being in my 30s!
