He smacked his head against a wall cos he was sick of seeing the bikes I post on bmx/mtb threads.

Nothing extreme. Got elbowed in the forehead, not in a fight or anything cool, just an accident. Pretty bad headache, nausea, dizziness etc but it’s passing

Downtube/BB mitre. This one is mitred in 2 directions and angles to fit around the seat tube

Next I’m going to rough cut it to length and then creep up on the headtube mitre with hand files

Rough cut to length. It’ll walk down the headtube as I file in the mitre and it should sit nicely at the bottom of the tube all snug

@T0mg front triangle is mitred up and I’ve punched the bottle cage bosses for drilling but I need a new drill to proceed. Hopefully I’ll get that sorted soon.

That looks like a lot of filing

Hopefully one day I’ll have a milling machine and holesaws which will do away with some of the filing

I can only admire your patience. Hand filing practice miters already had me aching and screaming.

Did some tinkering today. Looks like the weather is set to turn and my fugio doesn’t take mudguards.
