yeah, gap is coming down on climbs but because the roads are really narrow/technical on some of the route I reckon the break have a better chance than might otherwise be the case as the peloton will get really strung out and support vehicles will have to really hang back too.
Also have Terpstra in the fantasy squad, as well as a cheeky pound on him at 225-1 so will be keeping my fingers crossed ;)
Do we think the break will make it today? Terpstra's got pedigree-can see him taking it more than de Gendt tbh although both have won a stage at St Etienne in the Dauphine before according to Le Tour. I reckon Alaphillipe will have a crack at getting away too but don't see other teams letting it happen.
