I already have a chain tool so I would just be using the torque wrench stuff. Also I've had lots of drama with tracker batteries. I hope the new unit I was sent will fix that but it's nice to have a screwdriver. I'm getting the NTX+ so we can compare in Burgas. :)

My chain tool weighs much less than that
How do you know what the chain tool weighs anyway? It looks pretty light to me. I'll see what they come out at on the scales and pick the one the looks the least likely to fall apart :)

I meant my chain tool + the tiny torque wrench weighs less than the lump-of-steel NTX+
Screwdrivers are available, even in Eastern Europe. I used to carry a multi-tool with one as my old brakes needed a screwdriver to adjust, but my super new cantis use an Allen key.
(Note to self: will need to take a separate key for that as it is a small one). -

You could always drill a few holes in it!

Got out on the bike this morning. Fairly easy spin for an hour. With a few little efforts. Knee seems ok. Cough nothing too worrying. First bit of positivity for me in awhile. Picked up a hi viz (thanks).
Just need to decide which size pump to return and have another trial pack, run through my checklist!
Good stuff!
Take a decent pump. If you need one at all, you want the best one that you can carry. -

1 or 2 spare cleats? Or overkill?
-
• #1408
For you 2. As your on road shoes.
Bolts tooIf you're walking yull be fucked.
I'd also by shimano cleat covers. -

Depends what type:
Plastic ones - I'd probably take a spare set.
SPDs - don't bother.I changed my plastic Looks after 2,500km on IndyPac. Would have done another 1000km, but I (thought I) had 2,500 more to go.

I'd also.recomend nylon thread and leather needed. To stich up sidewall tears.

Yeah, but I want the torque wrench to be useful :P
I have a screwdriver on the other multitool that I carry. -

Confidence inspiring ;-)

I stopped before saying I'd be using mtb shoes on this event!

Jesse did a really good kit list of stuff that he took on Race to the Rock a couple of years ago. It's on facebook so impossible to find it now, but I remember he had a needle and thread, for stiching up skin tears!

Skin! I carry sterie strip and gorilla tape for that.
I couldn't needle myself. -

Haha so considerate.
So just the inappropriate bike, tyres, shoes nothing major. -

What's wrong with your bike?

Must be something in it: TCR has never been won on a carbon bike...

Slightly tongue in cheek.
I’m familiar with my kit. I’ve got covers as realised that was a limitation.
I’m certainly not as green as some on the Facebook group, here’s hoping that it’ll be enough to make Brest. -

Carbon steel ;0)

Teravail Ramparts 32c durable ordered.
Yeah - that one is probably better. Weighs more but has screwdriver and chain tool so would save carrying other stuff.
EDIT
Actually, no - it's shit. My chain tool weighs much less than that and I don't need a screwdriver as tracker batteries last for ages. Get the tiny one!
