WhatsApp is very useful because it's so direct and instant. Although it seems silly, logging into the forum to post/check is quite lengthy when you've got a busy day at work.
Also, thankfully we also have a few dedicated people who repost the info from the WhatsApp to the forum.

and you've also made people in your life move things to Saturday in order to protect your Sunday for polo, because when that Sunday doesn't happen because "everyone played yesterday", you feel like you turned down a lot of other potential things down (or made your fams life difficult mving things) for nothing. When this happens more than a few times, it makes you resent setting aside time for polo and you stop doing so
This is why I don't play on the weekend anymore. Too much last minute flakery. Would love to if there was a dedicated, consistent early game. Evenings are out for me with bedtime etc, and I can't hog a whole day waiting for six to show up, or plan anything if it's only being organised the day before on WhatsApp. But it is also a numbers thing. If you could double or triple participation, then you might have more consistency.
