...Or the panic of coming to a junction with no visible riders in front and just guessing the way whilst being followed by a large group... luckily I guessed correctly!

Ha I had that one year...
I guessed wrongly. I mean it was a road, it probably would have been fine and gone somewhere and ended up in the right direction, but I did turn around after 1km or so and a good few people followed me back the way we'd come. Past other people still heading down my erroneous lane. Missing it this year, enjoy!

yup, i did that, ended up with some Brixton CC riders behind us as we did a 7 mile detour. Was fun though, oh how we laughed about it .....

The joy of it is that it's all so easy. There's pubs and food all the way along and it's almost impossible to get lost, because so many people do it! Follow the red lights and enjoy the short panic having to pick between the set that went left and the set that went right. Download and pin any one of those routes above to RWGPS as a backup and draw out a proper route to Ipswich and you're golden. It's nice not to have to worry too much about battery charge.
