  • assuming the rear mech is not clutched you might have problems with the chain dropping but if you have a narrow wide and a chain guide there shouldn't be any issues

  • Not really. Just a NW ring will do the trick, unless you have a particular affinity for riding down stairs.
    Clutch was born out of necessity in the mtb world and has minimal use in gravel/road unless you like riding particularly aggressive gravel; even then, a normal eTap derailleur will do just fine.
    @Netakure Just throw a cheapo roadlink copy on there and eTap derailleur will do 36t just fine.
