    Vegan cheese has been a lifesaver. Currently using Violife Are there any other recommendations?

  • The violife block is better than their pre-shredded bags imo. So get the block and shred it yourself.

    Another option we use more frequently is cashews:
    Blend them with yeast flakes and some salt - parmigan.
    Soak them overnight and blend them with some lemon juice - sour cream
    Soak them overnight and blend them with yeast flakes - melted cheese on the pizza or the lasagna

    For the pizza Bianca: soaked sunflower seeds blended with a clove of garlic, yeast flakes, olive oil and salt. Spread evenly in a thin layer, top with thin slices of potato and onions and some rosemary. It’s a winner even with the kids.

    Oatly does sour cream and cream cheese if you can get them in the UK? They’re very good and very authentic
