Wanted: ILE Porteur Rackbag

My search for the perfect front rack bag has narrowed down to the Inside Line Equipment porteur, just in time for it to no longer be imported. Anyone got one? XPAC would be nice, or the grey Cordura one with the map pouch, but honestly I'll take anything at this point.

Have you looked at Outer Shell ? I got a stunning bag last year and Baus Worldwide the UK importers[based in London] were so helpful trying to combine with other orders to bring charges down ,outer shell are either in Seattle or Portland and all made there it’s a lovely bit of kit and I went for it firstly as bit bigger than others ,if in London happy to show it to you,if you tell them up front they mount rack strap on the underneath daisy chains according to your brand of rack ,stef

Looks like a really nice bag, and if I was looking for something that was a bit more like a randonneur bag I'd definitely consider it, but I really like the design of the ILE bag with the extra capacity, tie-down straps and rear pockets.

Probably beyond my budget too D:

I've spent the past few days trying to source one as well, don't think the import tax/delivery is worth ordering from the US!

I don't want to make this a generic rack bag thread so sorry in advance, but what made you go for ILE? I've started a little investigation into bags today and it's not going to be cheap at all.

I personally don't like the shape of randonneur bags and I want something that will pack down when I don't have much gear with me.

The volume is goldilocks, the roll top is well-thought out, I like the velcro rear pockets, and the extra-long tie-down straps hidden in the top flap pouch are a genius addition

I have a ILE rackbag I am looking to sell, it would need posting.....

I bought mine off someone on here, and like it so much id buy a new one if something happened to it. The tie down straps are super handy if you need a dozen rolls of loo paper with the rest of your shopping
