Forest, the gift that keeps on giving.
O’Neill sacked.

Very efficient recruitment process. Took 16 mins to announce the new fella.

At least they had someone lined up.
We sacked Darren Moore in Feb and only appointed Bilic last week...

Oh dear.

Fulham in a pre-season friendly against the mighty Cambridge United on Saturday but annoyingly it's being played behind closed doors at their Motspur Park training ground. I would, sadly, have paid to go see that if only to give my Fulham supporting daughter a solid reason to take the piss out of me.

Swiss Ramble doing his excellent best to make Arsenal fans feel sad.

'Success on field is important'. For sure next season's mission has to be condensed to 'qualify for the champions league'.

You don't agree with the those statements? (The full statements rather than the snippet you have chose that look weird out of context...)
In the last 2 years #AFC has earned by far the least of the Big Six in Europe, just £74m against #LFC £189m, #THFC £163m and #MCFC £157m. Arsenal is the only club to see their European revenue fall compared to the preceding 2 years. Success on the pitch is important.

After 4 months playing 6-a-side with my old, shit, painful and decidedly old-tech Umbro x destroyers (chosen for their ugliness circa 2006), I spunked £85 on some predator 19+ boots in the sale. First outing tonight and I’ve hurt my ankle. Scored though and my first touch was amazing 👌

Can Chelsea hurry up and announce Lampard so we can get on with hiring Cocu as his replacement? Thanks.
-
• #150612
Isn't it gonna be fat sam as assistant to benitez?
-
• #150613
Derby have announced that Lampard has left but Chelsea won’t be drawn on the issue. Derby are now trolling by making other announcements for Chelsea including a CHO five year deal

I don't follow the contention. I totally agree with the statements. The reason why European revenue has fallen is surely because Arsenal have been in the European League vs the other listed teams that have been in the Champions League. Arsenal may well have gone deep in Europa twice but every equivalent stage in Champions in worth about double.

The only thing our owner is doing is trying to get things moving so we can prepare for our season that starts earlier than yours. Also, our manager will be able to sign players so we'd need them in sooner to get things rolling on that front.
If Frank goes and we get the £4m compensation for him plus the extra £3m being touted for the other staff and we bring in Cocu then I think we've done amazingly well to get that sorted. But Cocu will need time to get his staff together and to assess the squad and targets.

It is said that he has been offered £4 million a year for three years which means he is set to pocket £12 million for six months' work.

Finally!
Ndombele signs. Transfer record broken £57m and rising. 5yrs with an option for the 6th
Glad levy didn’t fuck about too much with this one.Now let’s buy some more players that will fight immediately for a first team spot.

big signing for Spurs that one Corny. Could easily turn out to be the signing of the window
-
• #150619
Been talk about this signing for months now, glad it’s finally happened.
Looks like he’s quality and we’re paying for that and his youth.
Would rather we’d have paid the €25m Lyon paid for him to get him from Amiens (our scouting dept needs to up their game), but really happy we’ve got him. -

Been enjoying the women’s World Cup and England’s run to the semi final.
Had an equaliser against the u.s for a fractional offside. Deserve more. Played really well apart from some occasional poor passing amongst the back four.. -
• #150621
Harsh penalty/yellow given and shite penalty taken. Another goal at either end seems likely.
-
• #150622
Can’t believe how upset I am by the missed penalty.
The u.s were there for the taking.
Another thwarted World Cup campaign.. -
• #150623
It’s reminiscent of the men’s ‘golden generation’ team, especially with a sending off!
-
• #150624
Gutted.
The talent is there across the squad. Just need refinement to be consistently good for the full 90mins. -

The US are by far the most professional team in this tournament. Fittest, pressed best, knew how to win fouls and manage the game. A step ahead of all the others.
