Glastonbury tried to book a friend of mine to play a peak time (midnight or 1am) set at Arcadia this year. He turned it down because they wouldn't give him guest tickets for his wife or his roadies. To be fair, they offered him on site assistance for any stuff he needed doing.
He's middle aged and ten years ago would have done anything to play that stage at that time. I guess we all get to an age where we can't be arsed to slum it anymore. He's playing in a club in Graz in Austria instead. The promoters have put on a nice hotel room for him.

Pretty much, the 1st year I went was without a tent and just a change of pants and socks, 40 quid and a healthy bag of drugs. That idea fills me with absolute dread nowadays
