• Where are you putting the light? If you go PDW I would highly recommend getting an Isen guard mount for it. You get a really good angle on the beam.

I have a B&M IQ and it is fucking bright. Standlight mode is so so but jeeze can it light up a country lane

  • That's a good question. I like the look of a fork crown (i.e. brake hole) mount as that looks very secure.

However the guard mount does sound good for position. Does it flap about at all?

  • the guard mount will put the beam slightly forward and you'd get less wheel shadow plus frees up room for a bar bag

i like the supernova beam but thats personal, edlux is a great light

go fancy connectors .. because why not?

  • @ChasnotRobert yeah it's not going anywhere. I have recently ridden it across off-road "fashionable" surfaces and hasn't moved. The position from fork crown to guard has made quite a difference to light coverage IMO. @SeƱor_Bear is also right to point out that the IQ-X isn't very heavy. I have thinner PDW and it doesn't flex the guard at all.

As you may I have guessed this is fairly new addition to my bike and I am quite pleased with the entire situation tbqh

@Ecobeard Mean! true but still mean!
