Recommendations for polo bike update

Hi everyone, I’ve just come back to polo after about 8/9 years away. Finding out all the changes, mainly that a front disk brake is pretty standard and the play is much quicker. My twin v brakes are not really up to it.

Thankfully my fork has a disk brake mount, so I’m looking for recommendations, I’ve no experience of disk brakes on any bike so total noob. All advice and help appreciated, many thanks in advance!

Avid bb7 is a very good brake cable sistem
But you can also get shimano hydro sistem for almost same price

I might be swapping my Avid BB7 out for a hydraulic disc brake - I can lend you it and help you set it up court side. If you like if you can give me some monies or beers?!

That’s very kind and tempting, I only manage to play Thursdays alas at Newington. I’ll pm you to save blabbing on here, my bike, being old and subject to ‘back in the day’ setup thinking, is a bit odd.
