I've been meaning to get some new shirts, so maybe this is the time.
But it means sorting out the old ones first to maintain domestic harmony.

I think he might be joking.
Wear a white shirt

Well it's simpler.

A members club or night club?
I’d probably go light blue shirt with either cutaway collar or long button down and grey/green/dark blue tie + pocket square

Drakes had a sample sale today and whilst a lot of it seemed to come from the Old street factory store they had some of the perennial shirts which don’t go on sale. They’re a bit spenny for me at £145 normally but are 3 for £150 at the sale. It’s near Bond Street and on tomorrow. Would recommend having a look if you’re around that way.

Sounds like a dream sample sale, shame I am not in London. If they have Floris leather oud parfum for cheap someone grab me a bottle
-
• #3234
Yup that’s the one.
If you do go and get shirts I’m kicking myself I didn’t get another chambray button down in 16 inch - so let me know 🙂

Not quite same but 20% off outerwear for a short time means maybe this could work?

brown leather belt (possibly two prong buckle) up to 2” wide
Easy suggestions from the hive mind?

Jesus that first link's website is annoying!
The Filson one looks great, but the Tim Hardy is a bit more finished.
A mate geeked out ages ago on finding a simple rugged "bifl" belt. I'll see if I can find out where he got his.

I have a really nice custom belt from from some people called equus, I think. Very sturdy leather. Can recommend!
Edit. Ask them to make one without any holes and then punch them yourself so you have only the ones you actually need. I’ve made do with only one and it looks quite sleek and simple.

HebTroCo if you want it to last forever?

Am frustrated with them. Ordered boots, were meant to come mid May and still no sign of them. I have to keep chasing and they are having problems with the boot manufacturer. But annoyingly when they update their expected dates on their website they don’t bother to keep customers who have already paid up to speed.

They’re just middle men and stick their name on someone else’s products. William Lennon will make you the same custom chukka for less.

That's a shame but can understand the frustration. Pretty sure the belts are made by a guy in Todmorden but could well be the same leather.

I can make a belt for about £40. Here’s one I made a few years ago. I only make them to order, so I don’t have any images to share other than the one I wear.
I don’t recommend double prong buckles as they bend and are a fiddle to line up.
The one in the pic also has a brass d ring for clipping a dog lead to when you need both hands and can’t let the dog(s) go.
I can get nice heavy leather (3.5mm thick) vegetable tanned in Italy in tan dark brown or black. 38mm is best with jeans but I can make them to any width you prefer.
Hand sewn etc. Turn around is about 10 days. Let me know.

Also can make a “matching” case moulded around your favourite pocket knife/ bike tool or whatever. Also £40. Might not be a perfect match as the leather will come from a different hide.

Bought this garment steamer https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01MTYPC1H?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
Works ok for t shirts and delicate items but can’t fix a wrinkled Oxford shirt

Anyone taper their own trousers? Do-able without a machine?
I wondered that.
But my only burgundy one has a button down collar...
Guess I could see what it looks like with a knit tie?
