I've not ridden it apart from the last hundred-odd km in the Netherlands to Hook of Holland, but it will be flat and it will most likely be into a headwind for several hundred miles.
It's probably not a bad ride, however, there's lots of great cycling in Germany and this probably isn't the best.
Depends how important riding home is vs finding better cycling country.
