I'm still baffled guns are legal
Agreed! We should use the guns to shoot the cats and then throw them away.

We should use the guns to shoot those pesky birds, as the cats are obviously not bringing down the numbers efficiently.

OK, this is just to make sure I've understood it correctly and am not about to commit a huge mistake: SRAM 1x and 22 GXP cranks are all the same thing in terms of dimensions once you take the directmount for the chainring(s) off, correct?
I.e. you can take a SRAM Force 22 crank, for example, and put a directmount 1x chainring on (wolf tooth or absolute black or whatever), and it will be the same thing as putting that chainring onto a Rival 1 crank.
Obviously, one needs to get the correct type of directmount chainring - but it will fit the same on both 1 and 22 cranks?

My other half is from there, tons of good places. Café Gandolfi in Merchant City always a good option, West Beer at Glasgow Green good for large groups and beers, Paesano Pizza probably does the best in town, Mitchell Lane is a pretty wee Street in the West End (Oran Mor not too far from that either) with options. Nice ‘n’ Sleazy’s always a good shout too, and Mother India just up the road has long been our go-to curry hoose.

Except for the Stephens Island wren
Apparently I'm going to have to keep repeating, for people incapable of following a thread, that I'm talking about mainland and cosmopolitan fauna. Small islands are a distinct issue where there is obviously a serious problem with human-introduced non-native predators and competitors for endemic species.

After skinning them for mittens, obvs.

Thanks.

Kittens for mittens, surely? Is there really more than one way to skin a cat?If so, which is Tester approved?

There are many, but there is only one way to make fingerless gloves from cat fur without being in legal trouble. You must get a purr mitt.

Oh, now you’ve done it. The thread will be littered with puns.

Dhabba (for north) and Dakhin (for south) curry houses were a good shout the last time I was in town.

This place was pretty good and busy when I was in Glasgow for work a couple of years ago. Food was tasty, but was slightly concerned by the staff not writing down orders. They only missed one thing, but that was from 2 people ordering, they might struggle more (or perhaps actually write it down!) for 14

You sure that's not Ashton Lane in the West End?

It’s when you’re feeding someone’s cat.

You’re right; got my Brel and Bar Soba mixed up.

Sorry, probably dump question here, but I am building a bike for my girlfriend for cruising and riding together on short trips. Would the mix-and-match components below work together, or do I need to replace something?
- Crankset 10/11sp FSA VERO PRO Mono 40
- Rear derailleur Shimano 105 RD-5701-GS medium
- Shimano CS-HG500-10 Cassette 10-speed
- Mavic askium 10sp
- Shifter Shimano Deore SL-M6000
- Crankset 10/11sp FSA VERO PRO Mono 40

10 speed mtb shifter pull won't work with a 10 speed road derailleur. You'll need to either pick up a road flat bar shifter or a 10 speed mtb rear mech. Derailleur capacity might also be an issue depending on which cassette you want to use.
-

What slothy said.
You want either Shimano 9 speed or Sram 10 speed.
-
• #97675
Add to that, 5701 is 11 speed i think? But as said above you need a diff derailleur anyway
Except for the Stephens Island wren maybe.
