Benitez out of Newcastle. Should give us one team to beat.
He's coming home
He's coming home
The fat one's coming home -

Apparently a five year contract. Free rein. No targets. Penalty clause for early termination of ten years pay.

and no transfer funds
and might as well give it a #stillhigh while i'm here

For Lampard?
I'm assuming you're joking? Wishful fan thinking? -
• #150556
Why would I want to go to Boro?
A strange sexual fetish

Rafa
The really fat one.

It was harsh but they were all the correct decisions, they got off lightly in some ways given that Cameroon should have had two sent off. It would probably have worked out a bit better if the referee had some authority over the match.
Saying that, VAR is shit. I'm really not looking forward to going to matches next season.

I agree the England goal was a correct decision
The Cameroon goal being disallowed because her foot was 6 inches offside was ridiculous. The letter of the law might have been applied, but the spirit of the law was nowhere to be seen. Under any reasonable assessment she was level with the defender and the goal should have stood.
When I watch football I want to see goals and celebration, not some poindexter applying a televisual sliderule.
I think teams should be allowed 2 challenges per match like cricket.

That's the trouble with this VAR, it's meant to be clear and obvious errors but they haven't got any margin for error so it gets applied for everything.
It's just another thing to provide a bit of entertainment for neutrals watching on TV rather than the actual fans at the ground.

I want you to be right about this, but all the noises are saying that Frank is as good as gone back to you lot.
Derby fans are getting pretty impatient now and just want to know what is happening so we can get on with prepping our season.
Stevie G is apparently top choice for a replacement (if needed). Don’t know whether to laugh or cry...
Ok, I know. 😭
-
• #150562
Apparently Stevie G turned it down.
The timing of Rafa’s departure from Newcastle is too much for it to be a coincidence. He’s coming home.
What is wonderful is that the protest over his departure from Newcastle will be dwarfed by those over his joining Chelsea.

Stevie G to Newcastle?

• #150564
From Slippy's interview on SSN earlier today it doesn't sound like he's dismissed anything at all and his words are very non-committal towards his Rangers future.
I've got a feeling that our chairman would like a high profile name in charge as it helps raise the club profile while he's looking for additional investment. I'd prefer to keep Frank if possible. I don't even mind losing Frank and promoting Jody Morris to manager, but I don't think that'll happen.

Next level stadium ride!

Should've booked yourself a stadium tour, trophies galore!
-
• #150569
I suspect that Chelsea would see Morris as more valuable than Lampard at the moment, given his knowledge of the youth team and the transfer ban.

Next level stadium ride!
Needs resurrection.

• #150571
Neymar back to Barça? Can’t see that being a great idea.

Both parties seem up for it.. Phil going the other way as part of the deal....#rumours

Where in the world is Mino Raiola?
He'll decide the summer moves won't he? -

Him too....
Seriously though.
Who wouldn't swap Neymar for Pogba?
Let's hope so.
