Sorry I didn't wave properly and just raised my eyebrows instead, I had the usual "please don't die on the roundabout please don't die on the roundabout please don't die on the roundabout" going through my head at that precise moment...

@SwissChap I think . On the roundabout at the top of Putney Hill and then again just before Vauxhall Bridge. I took the Wandsworth route to town, you must have gone via Fulham.
I should have hollered more. I could have led you a quicker way!
