Dents like that can be terminal on those ultra thin tubes

Hi buddy,
Appreciate your email. Do you have an more information on dents or something I could look into?I took it my local bike shop and they said it was okay! I'll take it down and sell the parts separately if you think the frame is dead. I will also be looking for a new bike shop if that it the case as I can only take their word for it.

Just sent off an email to Bowman now. Will give an update as soon as I hear.
Sorry about this I should have sorted this first. -

Colin at Bowman got back to me sooner than I expect. Below is exactly what he has said.
"In my personal opinion, I wouldn’t say that that is terminal, but there will always be an element of risk to these things. The middle of the tube is under less stress than closer to a junction and it doesn’t look like a crease, which can often propagate into a crack. If it was mine I would ride it, but for sale I would expect a lot less for the bike and be very clear with the buyer that it is sold as seen. "
Because of this I’ve edited some text in the ad and dropped £200 off the price. Worse comes to worse I'm actually not opposed to keeping this bike. Thanks again for the comments guys.

Wrong time of the year for me but a lovely bike despite the small dent... it’s hardly there at all... GLWS

No way that dent is terminal. Glws

Just to put my 2 pence worth in. If it’s a smooth dent rather than a crease I would think it would be fine and possible to get it out with some effort

Hi guys,
Just an update that this never sold 10 months ago and I'm still looking to sell. It has been sitting at my parents house even since! Apart from a bit of dust everything the same still applies above.
I've also dropped the price to £850 incase there is any old or new interest
Thanks

interested in the groupset if you decide to split
Unfortunately selling my Bowman Palace:R as I need to get rid of some bikes.
I would like to mention before anything there is a small dent on the top tube which is viewable in the photos I've been told by both my local bike shop and Colin at Bowman that they would still personally ride it. I have been told there is alway an element of risk though so I would like to be totally clear that this is sold as seen.
Apart from that there is very little obvious cosmetic wear on the bike. I'm looking for £850
All the drivetrain components have plenty of life in them as it was serviced not too long ago. Parts listed below:

• Selle Italia X3 saddle
I live in London so happy to either meet or if you'd prefer you can pick it up from my address. Due to the price I would prefer to use Pay Pal (with buyers protection of course)
