Now I'm confused.
I'm looking at new bibs and now have to reject what you reject, because of your influencer status, where does that leave me? Back at Rapha?
Or onto Nalini? -
• #33307
Maybe I didn't make it clear. I never left rapha, I never will mainly because I dont know any better or can be bothered. I always have at least one piece of Rapha on at any given time.

• #33308
Oh good.
I'll look at lovely "designs" by dhb and crack on. -
• #33309
While wondering if I should just pony up the extra and get Nalini.

Looking good. Does it swing about much?

The Rapha Core bibs are fantastic value for money.
-
• #33312
I keep looking at other brands and then looking back at Rapha which now seem to be good value

No, it's pretty secure.
I have fastened it up with x2 re-useable cable ties either side of the stem, and I've pulled them fairly tight.
It's a pretty good solution to making sure I always have my cape with me on my wet weather bike. Instantly made redundant by todays glorious sunshine!

Yeah but they have that peep hole thing if your Jersey isn't long enough...

Been putting some rides on the core cargo bibs, nothing huge but have been extremely comfortable in all areas.
Wore them back to back with an air our out on a Weekender with no shammy cream, not a sign of chaff, even on my relatively novice undercarriage.
The pockets are incredibly handy for ride essentials like phones, a tube (42mm one at that) or 4 packets of skittles. Nothing digs in and even stuff like keys/ tools don't leave a mark on the mesh (which I was worried about seeing them).
Worth the money if you like business down below and party up top.

Good value compared to the more expensive ones with the Brevet chamois

Back to the straps issue on the bar bag.... I find these pretty useful
https://www.polaris-bikewear.co.uk/Fixie-velcro-fastening-straps-p/pol01-7545.htmIs it too late to go back to the straps issue? Have we forgotten about that now?

^ £6.99 a pack, £5.99 postage!

Has anyone had anything in for repair recently?
Wondering on turnaround times. -
• #33324
I emailed Rapha last week asking about the straps issue given I had just bought my bag with non-working straps and they've pulled it from sale. I had a reply saying "we will be sending out communication soon regarding this".
That was five days ago.

Do they have stretch or rubberised bits or anything?
Always like the etc stuff. Solid.
