  • There is no point in buying mediocre vinyl if you can avoid it. Better
off spending £70 for a VG+ original of a great album than three crap
copies of a 90's runner up.

what original's of great albums are you picking up for £70 ? Like no stones beatles coltrane stooges, zepplin even like 90s 'runner up's' stereolab LPs are selling at like 70 a pop. Seems like such an arbitrary number... Sure you can buy neil young and band Lps for about that.. Also which 90s albums are you picking up for like £25 a pop, like mid 90s major label and even indie vinyl is selling for way more than that. Sold a shit 90s morrisey LP for £200, because in the 90s no one was pressing vinyl. Loveless is like a £200 LP at this point and flashback are selling a used 2018 repress for like £130. I find this a really statement super odd. I need to understand! Sorry for the rant.

  • I'm basing that on my own stuff, last time I checked. Oasis, Blur, U2, FSOL all early 90's, it's post 96 when vinyl stopped getting released. Not sure what happened early 90's with smaller bands. For £70 you should be able to get a 1st Jamaican press of Blackheart Man for example.

£25 I'm talking about represses. Urban Hymns for example. It was a reply to a comment about the quality of some reissues.
