32mm tyres on old school normal width rims? It’s the Mrs shopper bike so won’t be subject to any extreme cornering. Currently rolling on some 23mm but I have some nice schwalbe cx 32mm in the shed.

You can make it safe or you can make it nice, but probably not both at the same time.

I say chuck them on there. 23mm is rubbish. Worst that can happen is you have to change them back.
