Where does discussion of counterfeit goods fit into the forum rules? Is it just selling that gets you banned? Semi genuine q.

^ That is what applies.
IP owners are able to get in touch if counterfeits are sold via the site.
Discussions are free and open.

Yup.
Forum obeys local (UK) laws and then defines it's legal responsibilities in the above link with regards to how we operate. i.e. reactive moderation so that we're within the EU E-Commerce Directive, etc.
So IP laws apply, but they target sellers and not buyers. If you want to buy, discuss buying, discuss fakes/replicas you own... then fair enough. But you cannot sell it at all, and aside from taking stuff down if presented with a valid court order I'd hand over what information I have, etc.

Which one did you go for?
Can we hive-mind review your QC images like they do on Reddit?

What are your thoughts on the Seamaster 300 ti? I'm very tempted by one but it's a lot more than a Pelagos.
-
• #36217
Lol. Solid commitment.
Knock a point off for no keyboard in the background though...

There are a lot of caveats about delivery timeframes, shipping instructions, taxes, etc :D

I would try for a Timex/Jack Russell/Keyboard shot
But that would definetly end with blood
The Flatcoat would quite happily wear a watch all day it seems.....

I think its an incredible watch , and much much better than a Pelagos in every respect.
If you were to put the two next together you would see where your money went.
I think also its a lot more stealth in the way it's not as "shouty" as the Tudor.
I like it.
Let me know if I can help , on either of them. -

I assume there's also a small risk of it being destroyed by HMRC at the border as well.
-
• #36222
Probably, but I figured it's a low enough price point for a one off experiment to see.

Left it for two days on the coffee table and it didn’t lose time, wore yesterday all good overnight too, and fine so far today. Will see by tomorrow if it loses time or if it survives. Really curious how/why it lost time before. Maybe some crud was stuck inside and has since worked free.
Really tempted to remove all the black and keep the bare brushed steel underneath.

Do you think the Omega will hold its value?
-

As well as the Tudor does. If not better as it's more established brand.
Oh go on then
