I haven't even seen one of those in the wild yet. I love the bezel and dial finish.

In the flesh it is really lovely and not overdone on the aged lume like some other watches.
I actually prefer it to the Seamaster 300 '57 trilogy watch we had , it feels more authentic.
And it's a fucking bargain at £2030!! -

Really like these. Particularly as it feels like Steinhart have made it their own. Maybe I'm missing something, but other than the bezel, is it really homage?

Do love an all black bezel on a diver. I wish I had access to a 3d printer and the skills to make one for this:

Lovely!

Depends on what you consider to be a homage... It's based on a submariner for sure, and if you think a homage is a nod to the past then yes. I called it that to emphasize the debate we had earlier.
But its definitely its own style and a damn good looking watch irl.

Looking at this omega jumbo as an alternative to the suverän.
What is the thing that I marked in the photos? Looks like someone wore it while welding.
Are the cases chromed or stainless on these? i.e. can I file/polish the thing off?Other thoughts? costs equivavelent of about 240 gbp.

Seems a little dear considering condition? Weird lump/dent.
-
• #36194
Probably. I just don't see alot with arabics like that... so thought if I could remove the lump it might be okay. apparantly it runs and keeps time.

Worn pretty much daily for about 5 years. Not much of a collector, more of a user - if you will. Still to find something I like more. Will probably take a PVD Aquatimer to make me change it, so possibly never. I do have a G-shock with a sapphire face and carbon that's solar and sets itself, it's objectively better in every way except looks - but I hardly wear it. Maybe now I've popped my friday cherry I'll post that one next week.

That’s rather nice. Your patience was worthwhile. Health to wear.
