He was probably going to rescue the coffee and make it properly

Ha. I don't think I can ever be a barista.
Wore my free as a bird jersey last week. Promptly crashed. Did another 45 miles. Thought of him.

As a young ‘un Wayne used to like messing around in the kitchen. He liked experimenting & I’ve no doubt his coffee making skills were exemplary & when we meet again he’ll have the perfect brew ready xx

Lori's old St. Polo shirt getting a new lease of life with the new generation... Her best mate's eldest son absolutely loves it, I know Wayne would've got a big kick out of that... The memory lives on!
I'll make sure I tell Maiben who designed his shirt next time I see him...
Back story: Lori's mum knitted the whole family woolly hats in indigenous flag colours, this is from her IG...

Would love to do this but working this weekend.
Loads of love from the London Polo community, true gent and the voice or sense when one does step out of line.
I'll dig of my London Open 2011 top and wear it in his honour still one of my favourite t-shirt!

Opened a first thread after a lengthy absence and the first unread post was by BDW. My heart sunk
I still have your Apple keyboard, Big Man 😢 -

Miss you gaffer.
Think it’s important to remember the huge contribution Wayne made to this forum and how many people he helped without expectation of anything in return. I’ve been reflecting about what made Wayno so special and it was truly his willingness to give people so much of his time and I am truly grateful I spent lots of time with him prior to his passing. That I will treasure forever.
A truly unique human. Much love. I cannot believe its five years...

Couldn't agree more.
Was always a pleasure to bump into him. -

Five years. I was thinking about Wayne yesterday I was packing up my house and taking a stag print off the wall. It has slipped in the frame and just peeking out was his signature.

I won't forget him. A couple of times recently during stupid arguments somewhere I've wished Wayne would post some chimps, just for old times' sake.

Can't believe it's been five years.
Wayne was one of the first people to come visit us when we bought our flat. He brought over a loaf of bread and some salt to wish us good luck. We nattered away for a few hours just shooting the shit. He's in our thoughts all the time.

RIP Wayne, I miss you too.
The fact that it's been five years has knocked me for six.
Generous, kind, hilarious and a proper gent. Every single time.

Whenever this thread or any comment comes about wayne, I'm on the verge of tears reading it.
He popped up as a person I should connect with on linkedin and I got all choked up.

I’ve just spent a melancholic 30 minutes reading back over this thread, punctuated only by @Greasy_Slag’s fart story. I never met Wayne in person, sadly. My loss.
I dreamt about Wayne last night... I arrived at a compass drinks/LMNH type place, @cake and @tommmmmmm were the baristas... The machine Tom used to extract the coffee was a bizarre contraption that defies explanation, like a cross between a bottle cap machine and a garlic press... Wayne brushed passed and patted me on the back as he headed towards a table with @Aroogah and a few others... I didn't see his face as he passed, as I looked over he was removing his courier bag and greeting the table... He was wearing a curly black wig, kind of like a Harry Enfield comedy Scouser thing... I didn't see his face then either... Bit spooky but it felt nice to see him... Vale, BDW...
