Last week on the Thames-side balcony was acceptable, once we left the western-most uncovered table, and, found one under cover, until dusk dwindled into night and we ventured inside. We never gained possession of the turret.
The White Hart did offer me the bonus of a chance to cycle over the vehicle-free Hammersmith Bridge.
Feel free to suggest an alternative venue.

After your departure,
@sifta pointed out, and I agreed, that the subterranean toilet zone needs to be cleared of its malodorous whiff. I suspect ongoing damp & mould behind the wooden panelling.
Forced ventilation may at least reduce the unwelcoming smell.
