Thanks all! Yeah that was a good ride. I'll write more later.

As hippy consumes about 3,000,000 calories from drinking beer every day and burns about 2,996,000, this research is clearly nonsense, though.

Anyone following the TABR? Abdullah Zeinab currently 400 miles ahead of his nearest rival. Bonkers. http://trackleaders.com/transam19

It is ... Pretty much a whole state ahead now. 260 miles a day average, so far that's a fair way ahead of the fastest riders in previous years.

Assos Skin repair, any good, when or in what circumstance is it used?
-
• #3267
I use this a lot and recommend it. Definitely better than sudocrem IMO. Generally. use it after long Audax's.

So kinda antiseptic and anti inflammatory?

I normally float it on some dark rum before bed...

That doesn’t surprise me.
Although you managed to resist a beer at our first port of call Saturday... -

Yeah, this is true. I also didn't have one at the finish, even though I was offered one. But I did ride straight to the pub after getting home and smash a pizza and bunch of beers/whisky so I definitely 'caught up'. #recoverlikeaboss

Dermol. Super cheap and super good.
Recommended to me by a very good dermatologist. and in my experience works very well to help broken skin heal.

I bought some for TCR in 2016. Seeing as you ask, I used it to rub on my arse at the end of a day.
I don't know if it made any difference but I didn't get major saddle sores, so I used it again on IndyPac. I've not used it other times, but don't generally get saddle sores nowadays.
Will most likely take it again, although will check out @skinny 's suggestion ^

If I was braver I’d tried some of the nappy rash stuff must be the same premise...
Especially the nasty yellow one -

I mix sunscreen and gravel and coat my arse with it. Same principle as carbon assembly paste.
Thanks don’t think there was a link when my wife sent it to me this morning.
