  • @honk @giofox Is the stuff that's a dotted line on the maps ridable rather than detouring onto roads? Looks like a more pleasant ride that way but not if it's crap farm tracks

  • Lots of Pilgrims Way's ancient 'legacy' route is much straighter. I wouldn't attempt it without 35mm+ tyres though. At best, muddy bridleway, at worst it's singletrack.

    The entire route is more or less B road width, with a few exceptions. You aren't going to see much traffic apart from around Maidstone.

  • Having ridden it a few times, it’s never singletrack and would be perfectly doable on a road bike or touring bike with decent tyres.
