Absolutely. My partner started there, and very recently ran two half marathons in two weeks. It's a great gentle introduction which kinda forces you into the disciplined progression, helping prevent injury.
It might be a bit too gentle for you, I dunno, but then you can maybe do more sessions a week? Either way I think it's worth a shot.
