Is this going to turn into some kind of Sorites experiment? :)

Why do you ask? At whatever price the shoes remain a pair of shoes. The price goes down until either shoes are sold or I remove the shoes for sale. I could say you are being facetious and/or patronising or clever for sake of seeming clever but instead I will thank you for the unintentional bump.
Ps: on further thought...consider Occam's Razor...always accept the simplest solution...(a) I am trying to sell shoes and finding the price at which someone buys them (b) your theory....I think (a) wins!

But going by the current trend, if I wanted your shoes, I need only wait till tomorrow to pay less for them.

Fair point but by the same token someone could beat you to it. Alternatively, I can remove the shoes from sale at a point where I feel I won't go lower and no one wants the shoes at £x....and for me...we are reasonably close to that point.
It is possible, that in the current market, I have 'overpriced' these shoes. They are good and quite expensive new but I appreciate that the Dominator 7 is available but far more expensive. However, I have had no dialogue with anyone on my pricing...so I do not know on how well I priced the shoes v no one wants Sidi Dominator 5s anymore etc. My method is simple...reduce my price till someone buys the shoes as long as it done not fall below the minimum I want less postage less PayPal fees. If that fails...at price £y...I remove the shoes from sale...I won't go down to £1...or anywhere near that!

True.
But there’ve been four price drops so far and no expressions of interest so I might consider it safe to wait for the price to drop again tomorrow. And tomorrow...

Someone else might be doing the same thing. Several people even. They might crack a day before you and you miss out

Bought Dominator 7 in similar condition to yours with brand new cleats for £60 posted on another bike forum. Your price seems fair as I don't think there were any changes between the models. GLWS!

I mean, unless you’re looking at him right now we must assume he is both alive and not.

Well. Firstly, it was a fully intentional bump, with a little joke attached. Secondly, you seem to have a sense of humour failure. Thirdly, as if it wasn't quite clear, the Sorites question that arises is, of course, at which point the asking price ceases to be a mere asking price and becomes a selling price. GLWS.

Oliver....my apologies... unreserved apologies and thank you.
Asking price and selling price tends to merge unless your item gets an immediate response or a queue of would be buyers. When you get zero response, must consider have I overpriced the item? State of the market? How desirable is the item offered for sale. There will always be a point where it is not worth selling it....but then again it depends on how desperate the seller is...for £62...I am not that desperate but say I needed rent money then I might be more inclined to more aggressively drop the price. The psychology/philosophy of selling!

Cut to the chase:
I want to clear £50...so allowing postage at £5...and PayPal fees.
So....£58 posted...if no one is interested...I will remove the shoes from sale...no further reductions....bluff? No...but wait and see if you want.
Price Reduction
In very good condition with a bit of marking on the sole (see photos)...No scuffing in the uppers. Ratchet works perfectly includes SPD cleats (again in good condition).
£58 posted or £50 from Biggleswade in Bedfordshire.
