IMHO if you're into luxury watches, you're a bit of an asshat... I'm a bit of an asshat but fortunately I'm also too tight to play that high end watch game... Fakes are shit but a lot of people get a lot of pleasure out of wearing moody luxury man bracelets... Is that person's enjoyment any less than that of a person who is wearing a lovely OG 60s Sub? Um, probably not... They don't care...
Authenticity will only matter to that person who is desperate to attain the cache that comes from owning that bauble... It's just another way that humans choose to set themselves apart from other humans... Status, status and status... Meaningless... I have a similar problem with vintage guitars... Bikes are cheap, so that's ok...
