Still needs a wider bar, smaller cog and some decent 28mm tires. Will see how long this setup lasts since im not a huge fan of the ITA bb in fixed gear use

Reinstall the gears then? ;)

• #17104
Nah. Ive got plenty of bikes with gears. This is my only fixed gear. Maybe ill hang this up and get another frame if the bb becomes intolerable

It’s making me want to pivot on my current build. It’s an on one 456 that’s going to be 1x9(or 10), but now I’m wondering how much fun rigid forks and no gears would be.

A tiny frame with this much seatpost showing looks a bit strange

Have you started building yours up in earnest yet? My (originally inbred) build is on temporary hold - I sold the inbred as it was too big and I’m waiting on a 456 evo 2 to turn up in the post now.

456 evo 2
Nice! I haven't, I've had stuff to sort on both my dolan and surly, frustratingly enough

Would. Still regret painting my XB3 so it doesn’t look like that any more.

Orbit frameset from @fizzy.bleach built up from spares bin. I need a longer seatpost - one I don't have to shim too. Also a new freewheel as this one was retired too crunchy I now remember.

Gah I've got a nice silver Ritchey classic you could have had! Still available of course...
Glad to see that frame on the road. I never put in nearly enough miles on it. Were the BB threads all OK?
Nah, the simplicity of the bike is part of its charm. Might chuck the dynamo hub into a 700c rim for my Pomp.
