  • Found this on another forum, pretty cool hack! Away with the rivets :)

    BB58 + Rolex 93150 bracelet + glidelock clasp + BB58 endlinks

  • That. Looks. Ace.

  • Apologies if this is old news but this Watchfinder video about fake Rolex is well worth a watch.

  • I saw that last week... it's crazy how close they are.

  • Lol @ the comment section... classic

  • And sold with two year warranties, 14 day returns and all pressure tested if you believe the hype.

  • A grand is a lot to pay for a fake.

    (Lays 100 on a panda)

  • He's right though, I'd never look at it in the same way as a proper one.

I'm still on the list for one but the chances of me ever getting the call is next to zero.

I'm genuinely considering grey market new and paying the premium. Madness.

  • My ultimate grail watch is a yellow gold day date.

Wearing a fake one of them would be soul destroying!

  • Wearing half a miwyon on yo wrist would destroy my soul. 😎

  • I remember looking at one of the fakes websites (the good ones aren't that easy to find) and was surprised by the prices. It wasn't just a throwaway purchase, it was the type of price that could get you a really nice watch (but not a rolex, PP, etc).

  • @JB was it you telling me about that fakes forum you found where they had a rating system and the top level was don't buy the original as the fake is indistinguishable?

  • Fake’s a fake’s a fake

  • As a newbie to nice watches I'm put off buying a Rolex or a TAG because of the inevitable question about real or fake all the time. My missus had a fake Rolex when we met over 30 years ago...she had it a couple of years before the numbers all collected at the bottom.

  • I'm quite surprised to hear this. Nobody has ever asked me if any of my Rolex are/were fake. Not sure whether this is a good thing or bad thing!

  • I just assume that any Rolex I see is fake. Unless the wearer explicitly tells me it’s real. Then I can proceed to assume that the wearer is a twat.

  • I bought a cheap as chips fake daytona in kalkan many years ago and it is hilariously awful, don't think it even worked. Will dig it out tomorrow.
Interestingly, I complemented a motorbike dealer's (fake) tag monaco gulf a few weeks ago and felt like an idiot when he told me it was fake.

  • I don't know what you're talking about. Of course this is real!

  • The only reason I haven't thrown this away yet (after finding it in a deceased relatives jewellery box) is because it might actually be the worst fake Rolex ever. It really is something to behold.

The sheer brass tacks to try to pass it off as real boggles the mind. Speaking of brass tacks, I think that is what the case is made of as the chrome just rubbed off when I was putting a strap on it. I couldn't wear the bracelet as it kept cutting into my skin!

  • My ultimate grail watch is a yellow gold day date.

Stumbled across this peach yesterday... https://www.shucktheoyster.com/rolex-day-date-oyster-perpetual-chronometer-ref-1803/

  • Reckon I’ve got a challenger, Submariner bought from the most reputable back streets of Ho Chi Minh city, he also chucked in a coconut donut for my £2

  • That's actually a decent price considering the "near mint" condition of the bracelet. Utterly stunning.

EDIT: but what if it's one of those fakes?!

  • and now its perfect. dont like the rivets at all

  • Rolex have been giving donuts away with their watches for years. Probably.
