Got it. Always happy to cast an eye over anything if you want a second opinion.

There’s one that’s been floating around OF for a bit but personally I’d be looking at the second/third generations with running seconds sub-dial. Didn’t they just bring out a Flightmaster Only book?

Outside my comfort zone on this , not seen it in the flesh.
Does anybody know anything about it? Don't know if it looks right . Apparently is 15/20 years old.

To my untrained eye (as far as AP watches go):

• Is the minute hand short?
  
• The hands and batons look cheaply finished, or at least not as fine as I would expect.
  

Also out of my comfort zone, the strap seems to fit to the case in an unusual way for a RO.

That's what I thought, and difficult to get a feel for how well made until I get in my hands .

Tried on a blue Pelagos today. Nice looks, but the feel of the bezel rotation was horrendous.

Also tried the Hodinkee Zenith El Primero, with the panda dial, which was going for £3k off list. Shame that the classic dial is ruined by the bling hour markers.

What was horrendous about it? Too loose? Too tight? Too smooth?

I'm no AP expert, or any kind of expert for that matter but perhaps that watch has been polished to shit! Might explain why it looks off.

EDIT: As @heldring says, that strap/case interface looks dodgy as fuck.

EDIT EDIT: In fact, the case shape is wrong.
