I saw some quite dismissive chat about the set of policies he revealed yesterday (on his website apparently) but I haven't looked for myself. That said, I imagine he's provided more detail than the kind of vacuous soundbites that Johnson has just delivered (before running away after taking only 6 questions from the press).
Well, if you're into hedgehogs its pretty comprehensive.
I've worked with a few ministers and people in government. The most important skill they need is being able to take a subject they know little or nothing about, absorb a briefing quickly and then ask the right questions to the officials that know the detail.
He probably crammed that whole speech in an evening. It might not have been word perfect, but I couldn't have done it.
The more I've seen Rory Stewart, the more impressed I've been. This LBC interview is the only time I've nodded along to someone advocating a soft brexit deal. I can see his point. I think he could be right. I certainly agree that a second referendum and remaining probably opens the door to the Farage Party even wider. I also agree that Europe will just roll their eyes when we come back to the table, much clout lost.

The biggest issue with him is that he's still a Tory - and therefore must be a cunt, which is hard to reconcile when he seems to have his head screwed on in other ways. Anyway, it matters not as it appears he's not got a hope in the leadership elections.
