The thing you're holding in your hand in the first pic is an adaptor to match the oem sterio with the aftermarket one you just took out.

It may or may not work with your new one.

It doesnt. The only connectors that fit together were the one that comes out of the radio and the one that comes out of the car in the first pic, with the brown and red wires

Edit: the old adaptor came off, the one that came with the radio worked. Happy days, just need to wire in the boot speakers
