AFAIK the ULEZ rules in london are being expanded to most cities - it'll be in Birmingham next year for example, and I doubt that one will pass. I think diesels need to be newer than 2015?

Feels so much better, seats could do with one more go but they look fabulous compared to the way they were... Didn't really wanna sit in them... My one mistake was buying a 'new car smell' Little Tree... Man, that thing pushes out a lot of pong!!!

@n3il I am moving to Derby from Sheffield with work this month. Can't see it being introduced in Derby (will check) and I usually get the train between Derby and Sheffield when I am between the two so hopefully will be okay even if they introduce it there
Edit: After 2020 the ‘most polluting’ buses, taxis, coaches and lorries will be discouraged from driving in areas of Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham, Derby and Southampton where air quality problems are seen to be ‘most serious’. However, the five Clean Air Zones (CAZs) will not affect private car owners, unlike London’s ULEZ. https://airqualitynews.com/2015/12/17/clean-air-zones-set-five-english-cities-2020/

For what it's worth, we've got a 56 Golf, and it's been totally maintenance free for years (compared to my '06 Focus, which has needed a number of maintenance issues fixing). Not a diesel though. I'd buy another one .
I'd hope it's worth a bit more than £900 though, so your's seems like a good price. -

Ha... Mother-in-law keeps threatening to buy us sheepskin seat covers like the ones in her new Corolla, she craycray, lol...
Blick, natch...

Any love for the Espada?

Had Campagnolo wheels ^ which is cool

I don't think I'd seen that - looks great, muscle car like at the front.
I notice that no-one thinks that a new Audi / Lamborghini are good looking...

Undeniably beautiful but a little obvious for me, like the Countach, ace but not cool, which I appreciate is a subjective thing
-
• #48294
Having said that, if anyone thinks they know the Countach from photos alone, nothing prepares you for meeting one in the metal

That was one of the lovely things about living in Chelsea, so many outrageous cars of all stripes parked up in your street .. From the gaudiest, most vulgar modern supercars to gloriously elegant and pristine vintage beauties... A marked contrast to what I see on the road here, long lines of white Japanese utes... OK, Holdens and Fords as well...
And #saddad Mazdas like mine, obvs...

It's probably something to do with my age, but I'm gradually going off those beautiful sweepy 60's styled cars (like the Miura). They're starting to look a little too old - like they're almost vintage looking rather than classic looking cars in my mind. Probably a silly, personal distinction.

yep. favourite lambo by far.

Pretty car....
Do you need to drive in London on a regular basis?
It'll probably run for a long good time, but I doubt it'd be ULEZ compliant.
