Yep, hence having to add 12mm adapters, just figured wider rims make sense on, well any wheel, gravel or not. Weight penalty obviously the downside to wider rims

You’re restricted to MTB tyres, putting “gravel” tyres isn’t a good ideas as the sidewall will be more exposed to the ground, as gravel tyres as usually designed for wide road rims, even MTB rims are only slightly wider than road.
