Hi. The down tube doesn’t seem to be Columbus SL. Do you think that the frame could have been repainted at some point in its life?

Definitely the original paint.. quite a few other examples online! i can't guarantee the tubing on downtube though as it is profiled! But every other bike i can find is also listed as SL

Ricci is Richard from Bike Chain Ricci in Redruth. IIRC the frames date from the late 90's and those decals are original.
He still runs the business so may be contactable to answer questions.
