Those are the "Funn Mamba One-side clip". The grip is ok, the platform is quite large, I rode them mostly with sneakers all year long, and Birks in Summer. Easy to take appart, and they have a grease port.

It’s a modified T47 bb apparently. There’s an article on Cyclingtips about it, but it was so dull I gave up.

It’s got to be better than the current model. I hope.

Everyone is doing it. It just feels really lazy. Particular hate for aero 'over the stem' routing too.
