Digituna is cool. GreenMAS is cool. First gen Monster is cool. Nice!

Great. Both look fantastic. PM me at some stage to sort it out.
Have a great weekend. -

The Monster was my first ever mechanical watch. I rarely wear it now but its probably one of the most comfortable and legible watches I own.

Lovely

I am tempted by the new one even though the last thing I need is another Seiko diver.

Any thoughts on the 2019 Seiko "Arnie"?
-

That is well nice.
I'm on the scope on the EU markets for a used SBDC063 w/ bracelet - can't justify Gnomon + the inevitable customs that come on top even though I've heard rumblings that they sometimes under declare if prompted. Is that where you got yours?
I already dropped my pants for DHL earlier this year on an under-declared package, such pricks.

I don’t think you’ll do better than Gnomon if you want it new and on the bracelet. I got mine from there. With import fees it still came out cheaper than anywhere else I found.
Always worth asking them for a discount as well.
If you do find a cheap second hand one on the rubber you can just order the bracelet from them.

Not my thing but I’ve seen some live pics of the SNJ025 and it looks better than I expected. Not too big either. (Not my wrist.)

With bitcoin!
-
• #35620
Odd question - if you purchase something by post using Bitcoin, Will there be Customs duty to pay? I won’t be trying this but I am interested.
-
• #35621
Yes, as the duty is calculated at time of import and not time of payment.
-
• #35622
How can you calculate duty on a currency which is not the currency of that country?
Am I being stupid? I’ll not be offended -
• #35623
The duty is calculated on the local currency value of the import goods. Not the payment currency.
-
• #35624
So some form of conversion would be required? Seems odd with Bitcoin being an e-currency.
Best to get the seller to declare it as a used pedal - that worked for me with Dura Ace vintage pedals. -
• #35625
For example, when a parcel is sent from USA to UK, value is declared in USD and duty is calculated at the border in GBP, converted from the USD value.
GX56 with superfluous and ostentatious bullbars.
