What happens if your garage is on a slope?

Or not perfectly smooth.

Did you guys watch the video?
Check out that lip at 0.09

I've seen a few variations on the same thing for garages so that you can pop the bike horizontal behind your car. No idea what the differing price ranges are though.

Or get rid of the 911 and have 6 bikes instead

• #13883
What does this mean, in terms of what I need to ride a larger capacity bike?

I'm unsure if it means I can drive fast tricycles and mopeds, and nothing else.

I also have this, so I think that my full Cat A is purely for tricycles.

Yeah I think so, mine was the same before my test. I think it's possibly a loophole relating to the eyesight correction counting as a physical disability in their database - mine was the same.
DVLA says: Non-disabled drivers who want to ride motor tricycles need to pass CBT and the theory and practical tests on a 2-wheeled motorbike.

Finally had some time to myself and managed to install my new Hagons. After a few nightmares installing my rear wheel recently (previous owner made the chain too short and my drive is sloped), I was a bit worried it would take all night. But it went smoothly.
Unfortunately I can't test ride them to work tomorrow as the bolts aren't torqued or threadlocked (I was trying to be as quiet as possible so didn't want to use a ratchet or torque wrench).
Still as I'm still waiting on a long pullytap to clear the exhaust it's not the end of the world.
I also managed to get an OEM Scrambler kickstand off ebay at a good price so today seems to have turned around. I've currently got a standard Bonneville one as it was the cheapest one I could find at the time. But it will be nice to put the correct one on... even if they do look a bit odd and Idk when it will get fitted.
Anyway here's an awful pic in the dark.
Looking at it side on I am really tempted to get a Lucas tail light and move the number plate down to the end (a bit like a mudflap) to clean the back end...But I never know what indicators I'd want.

Being forced up at 5am has its advantages. Me and Hugo7 jrn torqued up the bolts properly - well up to 24nm rather than the speced 28nm. Tbh they felt pretty tight an I'm not sure shock mount bolts on traditional suspension needs that much force.
A slightly better picture. Aesthetically at least, I'm really happy with them. Strikes the right oem look/balance. But proof will be in the riding. Curious to see what raising the height up a bit will do to the feel.
Do want to get rid of the center stand, but it's so fucking useful.

This looks lovely!

Cheers!
It's be so annoying not to have been able to commute on it during half term when the roads are quieter. The rain put a stop to riding it in this morning.

Agreed, looks great. Raising the rear and removing the centre stand would make it look even better IMO, although agreed it must be so useful. Pretty sure when the time comes my next bike will be something retro looking like this.
-
• #13893
Yeah. It's just striking the balance between my short legs, handling and aesthetics.
The main thing with the center stand is that it's already there. Removing it means buying a decent padock(sp?) stand and bobbins, as well as a bike jack (which I do want anyway). All of which costs £s and is less practical.

See what you mean, as it's already functioning well why remove stuff and spend more money...

Also no Senior TT spoilers until I've seen the highlights tonight please people!
-
• #13896
Err...leave it alone cos it looks awesome. If I had to change stuff, I'd always go for ride improvement side to things.

In non-Senior TT news thought this was pretty powerful

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm potentially going to have a weekend* free soon. Still drawing up prep plans, but I'm going to try and remove the doughnut thing from in front of the air filter, to increase the flow and noise. Also debating a performance filter and the AI delete. One is essentially free, so I think may try.
*well a Saturday afternoon and bit of a Sunday

Just had a go - the operator stuck to the script without flinching 😔
I bet they raked it in that weekend, all the out-of-londons with old bikes haha
