Yeah. It's just striking the balance between my short legs, handling and aesthetics.
The main thing with the center stand is that it's already there. Removing it means buying a decent padock(sp?) stand and bobbins, as well as a bike jack (which I do want anyway). All of which costs £s and is less practical.
Being forced up at 5am has its advantages. Me and Hugo7 jrn torqued up the bolts properly - well up to 24nm rather than the speced 28nm. Tbh they felt pretty tight an I'm not sure shock mount bolts on traditional suspension needs that much force.
A slightly better picture. Aesthetically at least, I'm really happy with them. Strikes the right oem look/balance. But proof will be in the riding. Curious to see what raising the height up a bit will do to the feel.
Do want to get rid of the center stand, but it's so fucking useful.
