is there a sensible price point?
You might as well get a reputable brand if you're investing time in changing bearings. I like SKF, but FAG, NSK etc. are fine too.
What about seals? Metal or rubber?
With few exceptions which you will understand if you ever come across them, you want rubber seals, not metal shields
I need some 12x28x8mm bearings for the wheels of a balance bike.
Helpfully simply bearings allows you to filter easily. But there are so many choices!

I'm guessing a balance bike doesn't need anything fancy, but is there a sensible price point? The aim is to spend as little as possible really as I need x4 bearings.
What about seals? Metal or rubber?
Bonus points if anyone knows what the on-one track hub bearing size is, as I figure I may as well get some of those too.
Cheers!
