Anyone has Peloton bike?
-

Nope, but would like to throw lots of money at one of these Tacx Neo bikes

Anyone in the market for a Computrainer? Trying to decide if it's worth flying to Oz with, keeping, or selling on.
-
• #2430
So following a cough and 3 weeks off the bike and 4 off the turbo I’m down to 271.
Small setback -
• #2431
Training is going pretty well this year. Almost at my previous peak power and I’m only just finished two blocks of base. Just need to drop 5kg and gain another 20w over the next couple of months.

That’s good, In prep for hill climbing??
-
• #2433
Always. Got a summer hill climb soon, nice novelty. Cragg Vale in Yorkshire, the longest hill in the UK. Still deciding whether to use aero bars and a disc / HED3 combo.

278w > 271w for three weeks of no training is pretty damn good! I’d be delighted if that’s all I lost.

Ha I have clocked up over 500km since Bank Holiday Monday mind.
But still fairly happy -

U moving back?
-
• #2438
Yeah, I'm sick of Brexit and Farage and... nah, i'm going back for my Dad's birthday and taking the opportunity to take to Oz some stuff I don't necessarily want to sell but could use over there.

@GoatandTricycle @gillies - How are you both getting on with the Kickr Core? Any problems, or does it just work :-)

Despite it being the summer, NYC is disgusting and I find it quite hard to ride a bike outdoors, so I ordered a wheel-on Cyclelops M2. However... it's fucking loud. So I'm returning and today a refurbished 2018 Kickr turned up. My god. It's silent. Astounding. Only worked out at $50 more than a refurbished Kickr Core too after taking the lack of a cassette on the latter into consideration, which was nice. Am yet to use it but initial impressions are good.

I’m sure this has been covered at some point but to avoid scrolling back through endless pages...
Which is the best and quietest option for top end Zwifting around 1k, tacx or wahoo?
-
• #2443
My tacx neo2 is super super quiet. Also, doesn't need calibration and works without power connection.

$3500?! What kind of idiot would spend that much on a fancy turbo?

• #2446

My money gun however, is firing blanks, so I recently got one of these. Has been great so far
Do you mean like a simple dumb one?
No electrics?
I bought the basic cycle-ops yellow fluid job for about £100.
It works.
